REGISTRATION INFO
Registration fee is $300 per wrestler ($150 for siblings). This fee covers all practices, all TEAM events, and a t-shirt, shorts, and standard singlet.
There is a 1-week trial period for all new wrestlers.
All fees must be paid by November 15th.
PRACTICE INFO
All new wrestlers should attend the introductory practice sessions on October 28th (@ Nordonia) and 29th (@ Walsh), 6-7:30 pm.
The regular practice schedule will begin on Monday, November 4th. For wrestlers in K-6th, practice begins at 6 pm sharp, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
Rookies (< 2 years of experience) in K-6th grade practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6-7:30 pm).
JV / Varsity Wrestlers (2+ years of experience) in 2nd-6th grade practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings (6-7:30 pm).
Practice schedule for wrestlers in 7th and 8th grade will be announced.
Parents/guardians of new wrestlers are allowed to observe practices during the first 1-2 weeks. After that, parents may not be able to watch due to space limitations.
All wrestlers should bring their own wrestling shoes, head gear, and water. Extra shoes and head gear are available to borrow, if needed. Wear loose fitting t-shirt and shorts to practice.
COMPETITION INFO
The competition schedule will be posted on the calendar in the app, TeamReach (download the app). To join, enter code LWC2021.
To compete, wrestlers will need to wear a singlet or a tight-fitting shirt and shorts (must be pre-approved), wrestling shoes, and head gear. A standard singlet will be provided to all wrestlers at the beginning of the season. A special edition singlet (and fan gear) will be available for purchase.
Wrestlers in K-6th grade may compete at NEOYWL events on Sundays throughout the season in surrounding school districts.
Wrestlers may compete in individual wrestling events on Saturdays (e.g., Quest tournaments; sectionals/districts/state tournaments); however, parents must register individually and may need to pay a separate entry fee.
Competition schedule for wrestlers in 7th and 8th grade will be announced and will include club-sponsored OAC tournaments.
